You may have seen that Clara and I had some fun in the sun at The Teapot this weekend. The concept behind The Teapot is simply the best. If you are unfamiliar with this family friendly coffee shop, or have been wanting to check it out, let me help entice you to become one of their newest customers.
The Teapot is a Downtown Phoenix newbie located at 818 N 5th Ave, and has been open for about a year now. This historic home turned chic kid friendly coffee shop, restaurant, and event space is located right off of Roosevelt Row and 5th Ave in Downtown Phoenix. They serve coffee, booze, light and healthy fare with an English twist, and delicious house made pastries and treats. They have amazing scones!
When you arrive at the Teapot, you’ll be tickled by it’s charm. It has a front and back yard and porch with garden areas to relax in. The inside has a homey and modern feel, complete with a large dining room table and cozy book reading nooks for the kids to plop down on. The backyard has a two story kids play set with picnic tables and toys sprinkled throughout the yard.
The Teapot also serves as a space to host your next small to medium event at. You can plan your next corporate meeting there, or host a workshop like Marian Mellen of The Zenbird, my dear sweet friend who teaches her Heart and Soul Curriculum at various creative spaces in the Phoenix area and beyond.
There are plenty of organized events at the Teapot. Our first visit there during the Spring Market that hosted a handful of local Phoenix artisans like Moss Points North, The Poppy Shop, and Verano Bathery. This weekend we enjoyed their family event “Popsicles and Sprinkles”, an event full of kiddos, bubbles, water guns, inflatable pool toys, and a kiddie pool. Also worth mentioning is the fact that they play ambient electronic music that gets the kids amped and the adults groovin. Love it!
The Teapot is a wonderful place to gather with friends and family, and would be a great location for a baby shower, meeting, book club, or birthday party. On the Teapot Blog, I saw someone even held their wedding there. You can stay up to date with their events on their Facebook Page. You’ll find something there for everyone, yoga, music classes, story time, and markets. As if the establishment isn’t darling enough, the staff and owners are so sweet and welcoming and pleasant towards children and adults alike. It’s safe to say that we will be supporters of the Teapot for as long as they grace the Phoenix community with their bubbles and delicious treats.
Have you been to the Teapot? What are your thoughts? Maybe you’ll catch us there sometime!
Sending you sunshine,
